This deviation was supposed to be a crossover from several beat'em up games. After adding few characters i thought i can add some characters from other games. I used screenshot from Shadow Fighter to make background and ever since then the project started to snowball into 150 layer mayhem (about 100 characters, all in separate layers except the smallest ones). It ended up becoming a tribute to amiga, with some characters from my favourite games for it:
Agony Alien 3 Another World Apidya Body Blows Galactic Bill's Tomato game Cannon Fodder Chaos Engine Chuck Rock II Cool Spot Curse of Enchantia Deep Core Doman Double Dragon Dyna Blaster Fantastic Dizzy Fire and Ice Fire Force First Samurai Flashback Forest Dumb Forever Franko Gobliins Gods Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis International Karate + Impossible Mission 2025 James Pond 2 Kajko i Kokosz Last Soldier, The Lemmings Lethal Weapon Lionheart Lost dutchman mine Lost in mine Lost Vikings, The Midnight Resistance Moonstone Mortal Kombat Motorhead Myth North and South Pang! Pirates, Sid Meiers Populous II Prehistorik Prince of Persia Qwak Rick Dangerous Robocop 2 Ruff'n'Tumble Superfrog Second Samurai Secret of Monkey Island, The Sensible Soccer Shadow Dancer Shadow of the Beast Shadow Fighter Soccer Kid Street Fighter 2 Super TaeKwonDo Master Syndicate Traps'n'Treasures Trolls Turrican Ugh! Walker Worms Zool 2
This is EXACTLY the kind of thing I was looking for. I was just trying to imagine what an "Amiga All-Stars" game would look like and, lo and behold, here it is!
I'm still looking for Turrican ... although I'm glad to see Preacher from Chaos Engine, the Beast from Another World and the Amiga version of The Prince Of Persia. That's attention to detail!
Turrican is a little to the left from Prince of Persia and lower, between Ripley from Alien 3, guy from Midnight Resistance, Valdyn from Lionheart and Ruff from Ruff'n'Tumble. It's a crowded area so no wonder you didn't spotted him at first.
And sure it got down in old daily topics...
